Artistic paints plant Nevskaya Palitra has been producing the wide range of high quality products for professional artists and amateurs during 80 years.
The factory was found in 1934 and started as a small varnish-and-paint factory which was built by the English production engineer Julius Fridlender in 1900 on the river Chernaya.
1th of December 1934, according to the order Ordzhonikidze, Leningrad artistic paints plant of the All-Russian Association of the paint industry became one of the existing plants.
The company represents the following product types: watercolours, oil, tempera, acrylic paints, gouache and products for artists work. Our trade mark "the red palette" is always visible at all our products.
Nevskya palitra’s materials are used for restoration works in such museums and monuments as the Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Church of Christ the Savior, St. Basil Cathedral, the Grand Kremlin Palace and many other monuments. Our permanent buyers are masters of unique folk Handicrafts of Palekh, Mstera, Kholui, Zhostovo, Pavlov Posad, many icon painting workshops and churches.
The plant Nevskaya Palitra takes active part in social life, supports the professional education in art and children's creativity, organizes different events to develop the art industry.
